We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer II to join our growing DevSecOps team and help design and implement solutions that strengthen security in our Kubernetes and containerized environments. Our systems process billions of calls every year and support advanced speech analytics, customer experience insights, and AI / ML workloads.

You’ll help shape best practices, mentor peers, and influence the design of secure systems that power critical, large-scale applications. You’ll work at the intersection of security, DevOps, and engineering—helping us scale secure, compliant systems that support billions of calls annually.

What You'll Do

• Improve the security of containerized workloads in Kubernetes by leveraging CNAPP tooling for vulnerability scanning, runtime security, and compliance reporting
• Partner with developer, DevOps, and security teams to integrate CNAPP and SIEM tools into CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows
• Test and refine Kubernetes security policies to strengthen enforcement and adoption
• Support investigation and remediation of container-related security issues
• Create documentation and best practices for secure container usage and deployment
• Provide reporting and evidence to support compliance with frameworks such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST, and ISO 27001
• Stay current with new tools and approaches to improve Kubernetes and container security
• Support DevOps needs by participating in deployments and troubleshooting developer workloads
• Participate in an on-call rotation shared across 13 engineers. Each engineer typically covers one weekday every two weeks. If your shift falls on a Friday, the on-call period extends through the weekend until Monday at 10 AM. The on-call rotation begins after 3 months of employment

The base salary range provided is determined by market data matched to the job description and the level of the position, based in our industry and the Chicagoland area. We often consider candidates who do not meet all the qualifications listed in the job description (i.e., more or less years of experience, etc.). Therefore, an offer for this position may differ from the base salary range provided depending on the qualifications / skills of the candidate. In this case, an updated pay scale would be provided.
