Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

This range is provided by Tundra Technical Solutions. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$150,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Provide FP&A and accounting support for Capital Equipment Projects
  • Manage a team of analysts, tasked with supporting various regions / facilities
  • Partner with operations management to provide reporting, strategic support, and technical assistance with operational processes
  • Lead group's involvement in month-end close processes (journal entries, SOX / compliance requirements, etc.)
  • Presentation of monthly / quarterly performance results to operations and finance management groups
  • Review and analysis of monthly actuals vs plan, forecast, and trend
  • Partner with operations to develop annual plan and ongoing monthly forecast adjustments, by business line and region
  • Assist in periodic internal and external audits
  • Help to drive continuous improvement to develop more efficient and accurate reporting
  • Assist in special assignments as needed

Some travel may be required.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA and / or MBA preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years of accounting and / or financial planning and analysis experience
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • High level of dedication to meeting customer requests and required time commitments
  • Proven track record of results and ability to partner with all levels within the organization
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Hyperion Financial Management and / or Oracle experience a plus
  • Keen interest in process improvement through automation (i.e. - Alteryx, power query)
