Physical Requirements:The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time and occasional (<10% of the time) job-related travel. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.
Shift:In this role you must be able to work 8 and 12 hour shifts 7AM to 330PM and 7AM to 7PM Monday-Friday. This position may require on call, weekend and holiday hours per department needs.
Job Summary:
UK Healthcare is seeking a Service Line Manager to supervise and lead perioperative operations and assume responsibility for overall assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation of patient care throughout the service. Carry out the Hospital and Nursing Service mission, vision, values and the overall strategic planning, clinical management, patient care, financial management and quality management of perioperative services.
This role is responsible for promoting the hospital standards and create a patient focused caring environment while addressing and meeting the individual needs of the patient. In addition, foster an environment of collaboration and respect with physicians, and all OR staff members.
The role will report directly to the Assistant Director, Perioperative Services.
