Regional Sales Leader

We are looking for a Regional Sales Leader who is responsible for planning and directing activities and development of the Business Insurance and Employee Health & Benefits sales force in their region, to obtain a sustained competitive advantage and increased revenue.
A day in the life:
- Establish sales objectives for producers and coordinate sales and service efforts to achieve maximum results.
- Actively participate and contribute as part of the senior management team.
- Formulate/recommend policies and objectives to insure the most effective operation of sales and growth activities.
- Maintain sales results by counseling and directing employees.
- Assist producers in developing sales goals and objectives.
- Identify, recruit, hire and develop producers.
- Conduct performance evaluations with producers.
- Be a model mentor and identify and mentor those capable of assuming future key leadership positions.
- Coordinate the training of new sales staff.
- Add value and creative thinking to the existing executive leadership team.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Act as an advocate of the organization.
- Represent the organization as a progressive leader in the industry.
- Ensure that the company's environment and culture promote success.
- Be active and maintain a high profile in community involvement.
- Perform other projects as assigned.
Our future colleague:
- Current Florida Insurance licenses (220 and 215).
- 5+ years of sales/sales management experience preferred, with expertise within the insurance industry.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- College degree desirable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective marketing orientation with the ability to develop strong marketing strategies.
- Ability to build internal/external relationships and develop long-term strategic relationships.
