Inventory Forecast Manager
This job contributes to the company's success by leading the development of assigned business units inventory forecasts, which drive the planning processes that support the attainment of sales forecasts and established customer service objectives. Key projects include day to day task support and may have projects moving forward. Daily responsibilities include setting inventory strategies and service level strategies, partnering with cross functional teams to create strategies and implement assortment plan changes, identifying opportunities to improve store sales, using experience, insights, and data to anticipate trend shifts, coordinating with others in response to multiple, competing demands, understanding necessary audience, gathering inputs from cross functional teams, and highly interacting with cross functional teams.
Skills include supply chain, inventory, inventory management, replenishment, production planning, planner, retail, ERP, CPG, Ariba, supply chain management, schedule planning, and material planning. Technology requirements include Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle BI. Degree or certifications required include a 4-year degree in supply chain or related business field. Years experience required include 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and planning environment. Skills include attention to detail, strong communication, knowledge of inventory planning, store allocation processes, analytical knowledge, ability to clearly and concisely communicate, quantitative and problem-solving skills, balance multiple priorities, work independently, and proficiency in ERS (Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to present. Ability to work in ambiguous environments.
This is a contract position based out of Seattle, WA. The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
