As a Behavior Interventionist here at Devereux you will collaborate with others who share your passion to help adults in need in the Ventura County area.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. Devereux California is nestled near the beaches between the Pacific Coast and Santa Ynez mountains Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential services community living day programs and clinical services for adults with multiple diagnoses including autistic spectrum disorders emotional and / or behavioral differences intellectual and developmental disabilities dementia and other cognitive disorders.

Under the supervision of a BCBA the Behavior Interventionist works directly with clients with behavioral challenges and provides staff training to support generalization throughout the day. Additional duties include but are not limited to :

The hours for this position will vary based on client needs schedules may vary between 9am-6 : 30pm and 12pm-8 : 30pm. Typical work days will be Monday-Friday but weekend availability may be needed on rare occasions. Initial training and clients may be based in Santa Barbara / Goleta and candidates must be able to work in the area as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION : Possesses a Bachelors degree of Arts or Science Degree in a related field : Psychology social work human services education and has :

EXP ERIENCE : 1 2 years of experience in designing and / or implementing behavior modification intervention services as described above.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
