A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records documentation for reimbursement and quality improvement
Collect statistics from reviews and maintain accurate records of costs and benefits
Facilitate communication between physicians and coding staff regarding documentation needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a clinical field from an accredited institution
Clinical license in the state of practice (e.g., RN, RRT, PT, OT, SLP, LCSW)
Equivalent experience may substitute the degree requirement based on clinical licensure
