Travel Nurse RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - $2,182 per week in Oshkosh, WI

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : NICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift : 36 Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience preferred License : Current RN License Certifications : BLS, NRP Must-Have : - Familiarity with EPIC - Level III NICU experience preferred - NRP and BLS certifications - STABLE certification is a plus Description : This facility is a Level II NICU. The ideal candidate will have experience in a NICU setting. Experience with neonates of 32 weeks and older is required. Candidates should be able to care for infants needing IV antibiotics, jaundice treatment, and NAS care. The patient ratios are 1 : 2-3 during both days and nights. Candidates should have experience with stabilizing and shipping patients when necessary. Experience in attending complicated deliveries, including twins and VBACs, is essential. In this role, you will collaborate with a shared CNA and charge nurse system. Support services include in-house respiratory therapy available 24 / 7 and a neonatologist on call. Centralized telemetry monitoring will be provided. Candidates will float to postpartum areas as needed. Weekend rotation will be required every other weekend. Time off can be approved up to 7 days, based on the department's needs. Holiday expectations will vary based on the unit's requirements. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
