Internal Medicine physician employment in Florida :

Premise Health is seeking a Full time Internal Medicine Physician to provide primary care and collaborative oversight for our employer based direct care clinic in Tampa, FL

Summary :

Provides direct medical care to client company employees and direct clinical oversight of advance practice providers.

Essential Functions :

• Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
• May provide occupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams and Worker's Compensation medical guidance) in some health centers
• Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications and / or medical treatments based on best practice standards
• Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educates and advises on medical issues as needed
• Provides referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resource or specialty
• Evaluates the effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress of patients
• Participates in the development of annual health center goals and objectives
• Maintains medical records using (In some health centers it may be using Electronic Medical Record software)
• May conduct quality reviews of patient charts on a periodic basis based on state regulations and / or Premise Procedure.
• Be available to NP / PA as necessaryvia phone / pager or in person during time the NP / PA is seeing patients or involved in clinical activities to consult on patient care.
• Execute collaborative agreement with NP / PA and periodically renew as required by State law and / or Premise Procedure.
• Provide feedback as needed to NP / PA on performance, including areas with opportunity for improvement.
• Perform any other duties or services required by laws, rules or regulations relating to collaboration with the NP / PA as designated by your state.
• May formulate and administer health programs as needed

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w / o US residency with current US work visa.
