Job Summary :
The Learning Commons Operations Coordinator reports to the Director of Learning Commons and is responsible for the following : Administrative Operations Management including manage and maintain overall department operations for the Learning Commons. This position will coordinate all Human Resources and employment functions for the department, working with Department leadership to fulfill staffing needs. Monitor labor and non-labor budget and expenses of the Department to provide information and recommendations to the Director and other leadership to make fiscally responsible decisions; manage supplies and resources for Learning Commons facilities and staff to meet employee and student needs. Collect, compile, and analyze student contact and student feedback data, academic resources and services data for Learning Commons and work with LCC Center for Data Science (CDS), Director, and Department leadership to produce reports that will enable the Department and College to make informed decisions for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, or the equivalent combination of education and / or relevant work experience (e.g. Associate’s Degree with two years relevant work experience, 4 years relevant work experience).
Knowledge of and experience with human resources and / or employment processes such as coordination of hiring and termination procedures, new employee orientation and training.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software.
Experience in budget, purchasing and / or operations processes.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience using College software such as Banner, Desire To Learn (D2L), and Argos.
Experience working in a college, university educational institution or learning center.
Experience with college and divisional policies, processes, and procedures.
Demonstrated experience making data driven decisions.
Experience with project management.
