RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - OR ICU / SICU

Job Details :

• Work in SICU / MICU unit with 24 beds
• Patient ratios of 1 : 1, 1 : 2, or 1 : 3 depending on patient acuity
• Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and tech support at 1 : 2 and 1 : 3 ratios
• Work with specialized ICU equipment including SLEDD, EVD, and various ICU modalities
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Preferred self-scheduling available
• Floating policy in rotation with all staff
• Required certifications : NIH, BLS, ACLS
• Perform procedures including EVD placement, central line insertion, arterial line placement
• Required dress code : black scrubs
• Advanced critical care skills needed for complex patient management
• Position available for 1 nurse
