Duration :           12+ Months contract (Possible extension)

Pay Rate :           $60-79.00 / hr W2

Shift hour :          4 / 10-1st shift. Remote

Seeking experienced ServiceNow developer who can contribute to maintaining the stability, efficiency, and performance of the enterprise-wide ServiceNow service.

This includes multiple instances and a complex development ecosystem.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the Service Central team, with a focus on designing and developing ServiceNow applications, catalog items, and integrations.

Standard Job Description :

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business / mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business / mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, scripting, and development.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent technical skills, including : ServiceNow scripting (e.G., Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer), ServiceNow configuration (e.G., tables, fields, forms).
• Experience with REST / SOAP APIs and integration technologies, including IntegrationHub, Action Designer, and Data Sources.
• Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow back-end functionality and operations, including working across multiple application scopes, and system table structure.
• Demonstrated organization skills to successfully track, manage, and report on the status of a wide variety of deliverables in an agile environment.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow development including core modules such as ITSM, CMDB, workflows / flows, and custom app development, and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced remote-work environment.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
