Product Manager Senior – Enterprise Platforms & Enablement
The Portfolio Product Manager will lead Amtrak’s Enterprise Platforms & Enablement (EPE) portfolio, driving the shift from project-based delivery to a product-centric model .
You’ll oversee product strategy and execution across Network, Cloud, DevSecOps, Observability, Quality Enablement, Release Management , and IT Operations .
This senior-level role requires strong IT infrastructure, agile leadership, and product management expertise to deliver scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple EPE portfolios.
- Align business outcomes with technology modernization and engineering enablement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, and Agility Enablement teams.
- Guide feature prioritization based on value, feasibility, and customer feedback.
- Champion Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) adoption across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to measure value delivery.
- Lead stakeholder discussions and ensure cross-team alignment.
- Promote best practices in product management and agile delivery.
- Support enterprise technology transformation initiatives across cloud, network, and DevOps.

Additional Information
Base pay range : $85.00 / hr - $95.00 / hr.
Location : 100% Remote (Quarterly travel to Washington, D.C. or Wilmington, DE for PI Planning). Type : 12+ months Contract.
Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
