Job Summary : Responsible for recording, analyzing, and reconciling investment-related transactions in accordance with US GAAP. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of balance sheet accounts and related financial information through timely journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. The position supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and contributes to financial statement preparation and management reporting for investment income and balances.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Record, analyze, and reconcile investment transactions across the company in accordance with US GAAP as part of the investments Center of Excellence.
• Ensures balance sheet accounts are accurately stated by performing thorough reconciliation procedures and validating amounts against supporting documentation.
• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries to record investment-related accounting activity.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and management reports related to investment income and balances.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
