• Kansas City, MO Shifts Available : Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends) Compensation : $30.04 – $41.50 / hr (experience-based) Shift Differentials : +$4 / hr Nights & Weekends Sign-On Bonus : Case-by-case Relocation Assistance : Case-by-case Position Overview A reputable Level I Trauma Center in Kansas City is seeking caring and motivated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Med / Surg team.
• This role provides the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population—including medical, surgical, cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, and nephrology patients —while expanding your clinical skills in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth.
• Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments in accordance with standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide direct patient care and delegate appropriately to non-licensed staff per scope of practice.
• Deliver patient and family education, including emotional and cultural support tailored to individual needs.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
• Qualifications Experience Minimum 1 year of acute-care RN experience (recent experience not required).
• Education ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure / Certification Active RN license in Missouri or Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
