Ability to read and understand basic work instructions, forms, and inspection criteria. Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold) and on the production floor. Basic computer skills for completing reports and data entry. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed. Ability to move between the production floor and office environment regularly. Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and loud conditions.

Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant
Location : Waco
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM
Pay : $17.00 / hr to start – pay increase upon permanent hire
Position Summary
Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to support the QA department in ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards. This role will involve a blend of office-based administrative tasks and hands-on inspection duties on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both hot and cold environments and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Quality Assurance team with daily inspections, testing, and verification of production materials and finished goods.
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and documentation to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Complete QA forms, logs, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors, production teams, and QA leadership.
- Assist with non-conformance tracking, corrective actions, and follow-up.
- Support sample collection, labeling, and testing activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of QA workstations and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and quality procedures while working in hot / cold manufacturing environments.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the QA department.
