Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant
Location: Waco
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $17.00/hr to start – pay increase upon permanent hire

Position Summary
Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to support the QA department in ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards. This role will involve a blend of office-based administrative tasks and hands-on inspection duties on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both hot and cold environments and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Quality Assurance team with daily inspections, testing, and verification of production materials and finished goods.
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and documentation to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Complete QA forms, logs, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors, production teams, and QA leadership.
- Assist with non-conformance tracking, corrective actions, and follow-up.
- Support sample collection, labeling, and testing activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of QA workstations and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, GMP, and quality procedures while working in hot/cold manufacturing environments.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the QA department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions, forms, and inspection criteria.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold) and on the production floor.
- Basic computer skills for completing reports and data entry.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed.
- Ability to move between the production floor and office environment regularly.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and loud conditions.
