POSITION OVERVIEW:

Toyota Certified Service Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and make necessary repairs in a professional manner and quality.

• Toyota Certified technician with a minimum of 3 ASE certifications.
• Detailed and efficient, 2 plus years of experience with knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostic, engine, transmission, electrical, steering & suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• You continuously learn new technical information through Toyota Training and on-site training.
• You are reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
• You are a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
• You are customer focused and hold yourself accountable to a high standard of high quality of work.
• Fast paced environment and managing priorities.
• Update on vehicle mechanical operations.
• Update to date on all E-Learning Toyota Modules.

• 2-year T-Ten program or Apprenticeship available.

• Maintenance Toyota Certified Technician with completed of on-line E-learnings
• Repair Expert Toyota Technician with completed of on-line E-learnings and Instructor lead classes.
• Master Toyota Technician with completed on-line E-learnings and Instructor lead classes. ASE tests completed A1-A8.
• Master Diagnostic Toyota Technician with completed on-line E-learnings and Instruction lead classes. ASE tests completed and L1

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and follow dealership standards.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs and explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Advise ASM of needed repairs with parts and labor. Advise of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order or the vehicle.
• Advise ASM through communication if any additional service is needed and estimate of the time required to complete repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Perform quality repairs; have a "fix the vehicle right the first time" mentality.
• Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and other pertinent information to describe repair activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience as a service technician
• 3 ASE certifications.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
