Job Description :

Full-time Dock Supervisor - Salary : $65,000.00 per year, DOE

Moran Transportation Corporation provides regional, less than truckload (LTL) services throughout the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri markets. Our team excels at providing exceptional & timely support to each of our customers. We are recruiting dedicated individuals to join our team and support that commitment.

Days / Hours of Work : - Monday thru Friday, 6PM - 2 : 30 AM

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Coach, teach and train all employees to operate in a safe manner
  • Manage, supervise, and assign employees's work assignments to ensure safe and productive operation along with meeting service commitments
  • Provide both positive and constructive feedback to employees regarding behavior related to safety, service and production. This includes handling disciplinary action that may be needed.
  • Ensure timely and proper loading of trailers to ensure service and quality commitments are met.
  • Conduct daily shift meeting to ensure proper communication throughout the operation
  • Ensure employees are compliant with safety regulations including OSHA and DOT compliance
  • Work with Operations manager to ensure business objectives are aligned and meeting goals.
  • Make informed decisions to ensure service and production goals are met based on business levels and communicate with employees and manager
  • Ensure workplace and equipment is free of safety concerns and housekeeping is always in order
