As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Driver in Rosemount, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. As this is a driving post, you will operate vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as necessary for incident escalation or resolution.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unwanted activity.
  • Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
