Role Responsibilities :
Lead the organization and prioritization of instrumentation and supplies based on facility schedules and physician preferences.Review daily schedules for instrumentation needs and remain updated on any changes.Prepare and anticipate special needs for various surgical cases.Receive soiled instrumentation following safety guidelines, ensuring proper decontamination.Oversee all sterilization processes according to manufacturer's instructions and facility policies.Monitor sterilization cycles and report any issues.Inspect instrumentation for proper sterilization before use, ensuring quality care.Effectively manage the decontamination and clean rooms to maintain a sanitary environment.Recognize emergency situations and respond calmly and effectively.Conduct maintenance and logs for sterilization equipment to ensure functionality.Qualifications :
Graduate of a Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology program is preferred.A minimum of 1 year of applicable clinical experience is required, while leadership experience is favored.Ambulatory surgery experience is a plus.Be part of an organization that values your contributions!
