We are seeking a Manager, Facilities Engineering to lead facility operations, maintenance, and improvement initiatives. This role will collaborate with engineers, partners, and suppliers to ensure sustainable use of facilities, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a facility maintenance team; oversee training for high quality performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align facility operations with business goals and budgets.
- Evaluate utilities and equipment effectiveness; provide solutions to operational challenges and risks.
- Manage inspections, repairs, and updates of facilities and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, procedures, and safety policies.
- Oversee supplier relationships and manage resources for facility operations.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Budgeting : Strong understanding of organizational budget planning and administration.Effectiveness Measurement : Ability to evaluate work quality and efficiency for continuous improvement.Problem Solving : Skilled in identifying and resolving operational and process issues.Manufacturing Equipment & Systems : Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, logistics equipment, and manufacturing applications.Plant Facilities Management : Expertise in managing physical facilities and infrastructure.Supplier Management : Ability to manage supplier relationships and transactions effectively.Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.ABET accredited Engineering or Engineering Technology degree preferred.Experience in one or more skilled trades.Knowledge of shop operations, maintenance practices, and manufacturing processes.Demonstrated ability to plan and organize maintenance activities.
