Cath Lab Procedural RN

Nature of Duties:
The Registered Nurse (RN) assists in performing diagnostic and interventional peripheral vascular procedures at the MCI ASC, working under the supervision of physicians. The RN is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating patient care in alignment with the treatment plan, and follows the Nurse Practice Act in delegating nursing tasks.

Specific Duties:

• Perform nursing assessments and develop treatment plans for cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers in managing patient care.
• Educate patients and families throughout the care process.
• Administer treatments, monitor diagnostic data, and report abnormalities.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional lab procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and radiation safety.
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced environment and ensure consistent attendance.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure with the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Preferred: Advanced certification in Cardiology and 2 years of critical care or Cath Lab experience.

Compensation: Pay starting at $38.21.
