Part-Time Security Shift Supervisor

Allied Universal is now hiring for a Part-Time Security Shift Supervisor for the Haines Port, NJ area. The applicant must have a valid driver's license, be over 21 years of age, able to walk for long distances, proficient with computers, and have a professional demeanor. The position requires working on the following schedule : Friday, Saturday 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, and Sunday, Monday 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour, with options for DailyPay and Weekly Pay. Uniforms and equipment are provided at no cost, and there are excellent benefits and career progression opportunities.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the security of a high-profile client's facility, property, and surrounding campus for a designated shift. The duties include making emergency notifications, providing direction to subordinates, cross-training officers, making productivity recommendations, overseeing staffing and scheduling, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining quality of service. The Shift Supervisor must also perform other operations and related functions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, current and valid driver's license, and one or more of the following : an associate's degree or higher, service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard, service in auxiliary police or police cadets, or minimum of one year verifiable and successful security experience. Minimum of two years of verifiable work experience in excellent customer service, maintaining poise during emergencies, understanding and applying orders, effective communication, planning and organizing, proficiency with Microsoft Office, problem solving, and coaching skills is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience in Emergency Management Systems, FEMA Incident Command Certification, working knowledge of EMS protocols, and Medical First Responder or Emergency Medical Technician certification.
