A dynamic opportunity awaits a qualified Cardiology specialist at a comprehensive healthcare facility in Pocatello, Idaho. This locum tenens position focuses on both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, providing the chance to engage with a wide variety of cardiac care needs. The role offers a standard weekday schedule, ensuring a balanced professional life. Key Details

  • Assignment Type : Locum Tenens
  • Setting : Hospital
  • Start Date : December 8, 2025
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Patient Population : Adult
  • Location : Pocatello, ID
  • Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct outpatient and inpatient cardiology assessments
  • Perform Echocardiography and TEE
  • Engage in Nuclear Cardiology diagnostic procedures
  • Manage daily patient load of 18-20 encounters per shift

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Fellowship in relevant specialty required
  • Not eligible for IMLC candidates

    • Working Hours

  • Monday-Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, daytime shifts

    • Skills

  • Proficient in non-invasive cardiology diagnostic methods
  • Expertise in internal medicine
  • Strong patient management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a trauma level II facility
