CBRS Core Facility Oversight

Provide oversight and guidance to CBRS core facility directors and managers, fostering effective leadership and operational excellence. Collaborate with financial leadership in OVPR on strategic initiatives, financial reporting, and recapitalization requests. Partner with OVPR leadership to develop and submit research proposals to secure funding for shared resources. Oversee the rate review process for CBRS cores, including close collaboration with Research Core Facilities throughout the process. Manage annual reporting that summarizes current progress and outlines future goals for CBRS core facilities. Develop and manage institutional subsidy request justifications. Promote CBRS core facility activities internally and externally, serving as a representative of the program. Collaborate with core facility directors and advisory committees to encourage input and coordination with internal entities, and to manage and expand services offered by each CBRS core. Support strategic planning with core facility directors, including developing business models, reviewing service sustainability, and establishing strategies to increase internal and external funding. Work with the Associate Vice President for Research Core Facilities and advisory committees to develop metrics for evaluating, assessing, and determining the future of existing CBRS cores.
