Your Role :
As a Tax Office Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of inspiring both associates and clients alike in making informed decisions that positively impact their lives. You will manage and lead a dedicated team at a single H&R Block tax office, ensuring that our clients receive the outstanding service they expect and deserve.
Your Day-to-Day Activities :
- Drive client relationship-building initiatives that extend and deepen our connections every tax season.
- Provide leadership and coaching to tax office associates, empowering them to deliver superior client experiences while achieving office growth goals.
- Collaborate with the District General Manager to formulate and execute growth strategies tailored to local markets, including community engagement initiatives.
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting in the selection and onboarding processes for new tax office associates.
- Act as the primary contact for resolving escalated client service issues and ensure smooth operation of client scheduling.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring timely completion of associate tasks with a focus on quality and strategic priorities.
- Foster a motivating team environment through regular training and recognition of outstanding performance.
- Conduct daily team meetings to relay important information and ensure effective communication among associates.
- Manage associate work schedules while ensuring accurate time tracking and overtime adherence.
- Prepare tax returns as needed to assist team productivity.
- Execute timely performance evaluations and partner with the Associate Relations Center to address any personnel matters.
What You Bring :
Prior experience in customer service or leadership roles is essential.Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.Completion of H&R Block's Tax Knowledge Assessment or Tax Course is required if you will be preparing returns.Commitment to ongoing education to meet IRS and state tax compliance needs.Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology use in general.Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.A passion for serving clients that is reflected in a resilient and determined demeanor.Flexible work schedule capabilities to meet business demands.High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Why Choose H&R Block?
