Location : Syracuse, NY

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : 10 / 17 / 2025

Shift : Nights 12-hour shifts 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM Every other weekend & some holidays required

Job Summary :

HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced night shift RNs for a 13-week travel assignment in the Adult Cardiac / Trauma Surgical Step Down unit in Syracuse, NY. Candidates should have prior Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and be proficient with EPIC.

Assignment Details : Duration : 13 weeks

Schedule : Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Weekend / Holiday Rotation : Every other weekend & some holidays

Set schedules; extended time-off requests (more than 7 days) will not be granted

Qualifications :

Active New York RN license - Required

BLS Certification - Required

ACLS Certification - Preferred

Minimum 1.5 years of recent critical care or step-down experience in an acute care facility of similar size / level - Required

Trauma experience in Level 1 or Level 2 hospital - Required

EPIC EMR experience - Preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and clinical judgment skills

Duties & Responsibilities :

Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients in the Surgical Step Down unit

Perform thorough nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans

Administer medications, monitor cardiac / trauma patients, and manage telemetry

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

Deliver patient care with minimal orientation and supervision
