The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing solutions for gas turbine components using state-of-the-art CNC equipment and software tools.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for :

• Creating and optimizing NC programs using Siemens NX for complex machining operations on mill-turn machines 2-axis lathes and other CNC lathes and mills as required
• Validating NC programs virtually through machine simulation
• Performing on-machine program validation and optimization
• Developing comprehensive manufacturing processes including process plannings gaging strategies and selection tooling solutions and fixture design
• Maintaining and updating post processors and machine simulation models utilizing Siemens NX software
• Collaborating with design engineers to enhance part designs for manufacturability
• Supporting production operations and assisting with capital equipment procurement
• Participating in equipment installation runoff and production startup activities
