OSP Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design

• Perform comprehensive OSP designs for FTTx, enterprise laterals, backbone rings, and relocations, including route selection and make-ready analysis.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, splicing schematics, fiber assignments, BOMs, and redlines / as-builts.
• Ensure designs meet NEC / NESC, DOT, municipal, utility owner standards, and engineering criteria.
• Select materials (fiber types, closures, slack storage, pedestals, splice enclosures) and define construction methods (aerial, directional boring, conduit placement).
