Pointer Technologies is seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI / ML) to join our team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems, develop robust software systems, and deploy AI-powered features into production.

The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background, and the ability to design, build, and deploy scalable AI / ML models that align with our  mission. This person is diligent, works well with others, inspired to learn, driven by mission and practices effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machine learning models for real-world and national security and defense applications
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for model training and deployment.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Conduct research to explore new AI / ML techniques and stay updated on the latest industry advancements.
• Evaluate model performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine-tune solutions for optimal results.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
