Position Overview:
As a Student Success Advisor at Tricoci University, your primary role will be to support students throughout their academic journey. You will assist them in navigating their educational paths, ensuring they have access to resources and the guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and nurture relationships with students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one advising to help students set and achieve their academic and career goals.
• Monitor student performance and attendance, identifying those who may need additional support.
• Guide students in utilizing academic resources, including tutoring and counseling services.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to create individualized action plans for at-risk students.
• Conduct workshops and orientation sessions to familiarize students with available resources.
• Maintain detailed records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.
• Organize student engagement activities to enhance community and promote involvement.

Requirements

• experience in beauty education, counseling, or a similar field is preferred.
• Prior experience in student advising, mentoring, or coaching is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective student engagement.
• Understanding of the academic challenges faced by students and strategies for overcoming them.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Genuine passion for supporting student success and interest in the beauty industry.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
