About the Role
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing customer accounts, generating sales through virtual outreach, and ensuring efficient order processing. While primarily an office-based role, occasional in-person meetings or on-site visits may be required to support customer relationships and business development within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular communication and responsive service
- Conduct outbound sales efforts via phone, email, and virtual meetings to generate quotes and close orders
- Enter sales orders accurately and ensure timely updates on product availability and lead times
- Support pricing of custom or specialty products in collaboration with management
- Document all sales activities and maintain detailed records of customer interactions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
- Handle returns, credits, and order modifications to resolve customer issues promptly
- Occasionally participate in in-person meetings, client site visits, or trade shows as needed
Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor's degreeMinimum of two years of sales experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PublisherExcellent multitasking, organizational, and time management skillsDesired Qualifications :
Experience in distributor, technical, or construction-related salesFamiliarity with manufacturing processes or industrial productsUnderstanding of budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiationExperience using ERP systems for order and customer management
