Position Overview :

The Westchester Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home (TFBH) Social Worker II will be an integral part of the Westchester Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home program. The Westchester Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home Social Worker II will be providing comprehensive case management services to youth and families involved with the Westchester County Department of Social Services. The Westchester TFBH Social Worker II will work with assigned youth and foster / kinship families to assess as well as formulate service plans to help youth achieve their permanency goals. The Westchester TFBH Social Worker II will also support and monitor foster / kinship placements to assure the safety and needs of the youth are being met. The Westchester TFBH Social Worker II will assist in the development and growth of the Westchester TFBH program.

Position Qualifications :

Master’s in Social Work required. Minimum 3 years of experience in child welfare, casework and foster care, or mental health; 4+ years of experience preferred. Bi-lingual (Spanish / English) preferred.
