A company is looking for a Manager, Mortgage Loan Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of underwriters to maintain a compliance-driven culture

Oversee the underwriting process for new transactions and resubmissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Monitor performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications

10+ years of recent underwriting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements

Recent experience in conventional and FHA underwriting; VA experience preferred

Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance

Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
