Your expertise in building codes, ordinances, and permitting procedures will help us deliver world-class infrastructure without delays. Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full lifecycle of permitting activities for telecom long-haul projects
2. Prepare and submit accurate permit packages to local, state, and federal authorities
3. Track and monitor permit status to ensure timely approvals and project progress
4. Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to align permitting with project timelines
5. Maintain compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulatory requirements
6. Research and apply regulatory updates to keep projects on track
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for permitting inquiries and stakeholder communication
8. Resolve permitting issues quickly to avoid delays and keep projects moving forward

Qualifications:

• Two to five years of permitting or regulatory compliance experience, ideally in telecom, power, gas, construction, or other utility projects
• Proven ability to prepare and submit permit packages for approval
• Knowledge of zoning, building codes, ordinances, permitting procedures, and local regulations; DOT/Federal/County
• Understanding of outside plant design principles, work order processes, and telecom standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and engineering plans
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and scheduling tools; Quick Base experience a plus
• Skilled in researching and applying regulatory updates
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; confident interacting with stakeholders
• Responsive to client needs and capable of handling typical project requests

Working Conditions:

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed to coordinate with agencies, attend meetings, or support project sites
• We're thrilled to announce the opening of our new office in Florence, Kentucky soon to become our central hub for collaboration and growth. This role will begin as a remote (work-from-home) position and will transition to a full-time, in-office role based in Florence once the new location is operational.
