We are a forward-thinking CPA firm seeking a dedicated Seasonal Tax Preparer , with a strong background in individual (1040) and / or business tax returns (1065, 1120S). Position Summary :

As a Seasonal Tax Preparer , you will handle a diverse range of tax preparation responsibilities for individual and business clients. This seasonal role requires a commitment to peak tax season hours, with additional part-time opportunities throughout the year. We value accuracy, professionalism, and a client-focused attitude.

Duties :

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals (1040) and / or businesses (1065, 1120S).
• Ensure compliance with the latest tax regulations.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address tax-related questions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the tax preparation process.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing tax returns for at least 50 clients per season.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax rules, regulations, and practices.

Familiarity with UltraTax software (preferred but not required).

High attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

Reliable internet connection and comfort with remote work tools (if working remotely).

Work Schedule :

Peak Season (February–April 15th) : 40–50 hours / week.

Post-Peak Season (April 16th–May 31st) : 20–25 hours / week.

Additional part-time hours available depending on firm needs.

Overtime hours will be compensated.

Compensation :

$30-80 / hr
