Snapshot / Role Overview

We're seeking an HVAC Supervisor in Lexington, KY to lead installation crews and oversee field operations for commercial HVAC projects.

Impact

  • Drive project success through effective crew supervision and quality control
  • Ensure safety compliance by enforcing protocols and conducting regular toolbox talks
  • Support team development through mentoring and skill-building
  • Maintain project schedules through efficient manpower and material coordination

Responsibilities

  • Supervise HVAC installation crews on commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure proper staffing
  • Review project plans and specifications with field teams
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure code compliance
  • Manage material deliveries and coordinate with warehouse operations
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety protocols
  • Communicate with project managers on progress and issues
  • Train and mentor journeymen and apprentices

    • Requirements

    Must-Haves

  • 7+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
  • Proven leadership and crew supervision skills
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and installation methods
  • Understanding of building codes and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

    • Nice-to-Haves

  • OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification
  • Experience with large commercial or industrial projects
  • Knowledge of BIM coordination and prefabrication
  • Bilingual English / Spanish communication skills
