Regulatory Enforcement Inspector

As a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector, you will be responsible for determining whether businesses are in compliance with laws, rules, and regulations regarding professional and occupational licensing and other areas under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Commonwealth. You will be physically inspecting locations of licensees for the possession and proper display of current licensure documents as well as possession of required equipment, materials, devices, and reference books. You will be expected to travel to various sites in a geographic area of the state to perform periodic inspections of all affected professions and occupations, conduct interviews, note deviations from established standards, and prepare reports to communicate findings. As an Inspector, you will also have the opportunity to testify at formal and informal hearings and appear as a witness for the State in formal judicial proceedings.
