Software Engineer - Cloud

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Cloud, Data Platform (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain a data platform that processes petabytes of data

Participate in technical reviews and assist in developing new features and enhancing stability

Research and implement efficient querying methods for data extraction for internal stakeholders and customers

Required Qualifications

BSc degree and 4+ years of experience in building products and processing data at scale

Solid understanding of algorithms, distributed systems design, and the software development lifecycle

Background in Java / Scala and a scripting language like Python

Experience in building large-scale data pipelines

Familiarity with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem and relational / NoSQL databases
