Strong understanding of software development practices, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience working with IDEs such as Eclipse (preferred) or similar.
firstPRO is now accepting resumes for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Boston, MA. This is a 6+month contract and onsite 4 days per week in Boston. Must be local to apply.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive software test plans to identify defects, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Implement structured testing methodologies, frameworks, and standards while monitoring defect trends and driving effective resolution.
- Build and maintain UI automation test suites using Selenium and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain performance and load test scripts using tools such as JUnit, JMeter, and Selenium Grid.
- Create and maintain API and web service automation scripts for REST and SOAP services.
- Integrate automated testing within CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus, ensuring seamless delivery cycles.
