Senior Network Engineer

The Opportunity: Were seeking a Senior Network Engineer to serve as a technical escalation point for complex network incidents and to drive the development and delivery of enterprise networking platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. This individual will work independently provide technical leadership and partner closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with best practices and operational standards.

• Project Duration: 12 Month Contract

Responsibilities

• Support project execution technology planning and budgeting collaborating cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
• Monitor and maintain network systems ensuring availability integrity and proper log and backup validation.
• Lead security operations including vulnerability mitigation account management and compliance.
• Provide Tier III support including capacity planning performance tuning and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor and guide team members promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to align with organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of experience in enterprise networking security or incident response.
• Strong background in managing large-scale physical and cloud network environments.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and infrastructure technologies (e.g. Palo Alto Cisco Juniper Fortinet).
• Automation/scripting experience using Python PowerShell or Ansible.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: industry certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP CISSP Security).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network architecture and design.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools and observability (e.g. SNMP NetFlow).
• Prior experience in capacity planning and performance optimization.
