Louisiana Certified Medical Assistant

A company is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Supports the patient and provider throughout the patient visit

Ensures the patient and provider are prepared for the visit and answers any questions prior to leaving

Completes appropriate documentation and maintains required clinical knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications

High school diploma required; completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred

Experience working with and maintaining confidential information in a fast-paced environment

Medical Assistant Certification required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required

Knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws related to healthcare compliance
