Key Responsibilities

As a Teacher , you’ll create and manage a classroom that promotes preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, and social skill development—all while mentoring assistant teachers and working closely with families.

Curriculum & Instruction

Develop and implement lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and individualized instruction

Foster early academic skills including pre-literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills, and language development

Classroom Leadership

Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment aligned with Cognia standards

Family Communication & School Collaboration

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center

Preferred Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required or in progress)

Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and quality standards

Background in inclusive education, sensory integration, or differentiated instruction is a plus
