Description :

This position is for a travel Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.

The nurse will work on a tele unit with a focus on neuro medical care.

The unit has a total of 36 beds and is staffed by approximately 70 personnel.

During the night shift, there are typically 7 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is estimated to be 1 : 6, though this is not guaranteed.

Common types of equipment used on this unit include Kangaroo Pumps.

The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.

The unit performs typical procedures including medication drips, bubble studies, and EEGs.

A positive attitude, engagement, and flexibility are preferred traits for candidates.
