Technical Writer

A company is looking for a Technical Writer to collaborate on producing high-quality documentation for transportation-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

Proofread and edit technical documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with presentation standards

Conduct research and collaborate with project managers and SMEs to develop and refine technical content

Coordinate document production schedules and maintain a repository of program templates for efficient data transfer

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field

Minimum of 8+ years of technical writing experience, particularly in system and process documentation

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance with project and client requirements

Experience with Office 365 (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Visio

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance within 6 months of start
