We are looking for a Business Systems Manager to join our Corporate Finance team! This individual will accurately and efficiently create, maintain, and distribute reports, charts, dashboards, and custom data extracts for the Bank, as well as collaborate with the CFO to develop a new Business Intelligence Unit designed to service all business lines of the bank. Work Hours : 8 : 30am - 4 : 30pm, Monday - Friday.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assist in the evaluation of new products and software applications & facilitate the implementation and / or data migration for the Bank
- Supervise any supporting personnel of the Business Intelligence Unit
- Document and analyze business reporting requirements
- Design, validate, create, and distribute reports according to business requirements
- Create Complex SQL queries
- Create custom and accurate data extracts; Combine data from multiple sources to produce complex reports and graphs
- Produce technical documentation of reports generated
- Facilitate product / application implementation and data extracts
- Ensure company service standards are continually achieved in area of responsibility; Ensure activities within assigned functional area of responsibility are in line with Bank policy Loan origination and reporting software administration and support
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and procedural efficiency with all areas of the Bank in order to enhance the customer banking experience
- Assist in the evaluation of products, services and software applications
- Provide effective operational support to all areas of the organization
- Test and implement (Loan Origination System) software releases / upgrades, coordinating with Technology, Compliance, Training, etc. as required
- Ensure accurate documentation of software problems and their resolution
- Act as operations contact (OC) and primary point of contact for lending software applications
- Demonstrate high-level communication skills; think strategically and on an enterprise-wide basis
Leadership Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop a comprehensive governance structure of the Business Intelligence Unit which ensures the proper intake of reporting needs and output of said reporting requirementsSupervise any supporting personnel of the Business Intelligence Unit which may include training, monitoring of report generation, and periodic enhancements to team processesServe as the internal leader of iDashboards to ensure business lines system skill use and application adoption across the franchiseDevelop a team culture which enhances internal data analysis capabilities to support business line needs in both a reactive and proactive mannerCompliance Duties & Responsibilities :
Knowledge of Bank policies and procedures, State and Federal laws & regulationsEvaluate and implement various sources of support for Bank products and processesResponsible for compliance regulations related to this position and receiving appropriate training including, but not limited to annual training regarding : Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), USA Patriot Act, and all other applicable compliance regulations identified by subject matter experts and listed in the master compliance training spreadsheetOther Functions :
Interact with all business units and with all management levelsInteract with banking core service provider, auditors, examiners and other application vendorsContinuous evaluation of technology and project developmentPerform other duties as requestedRequirements / Qualifications :
Equivalent to 4 years college / university training plus 5+ years of expertise with Crystal Reports and report writingMinimum of 5+ years experience in creating SQL queriesThorough knowledge of Crystal Reports, SQL, and all MS applicationsExperience supervising team members desiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret and discuss analytical dataMust be detail-oriented and possess multi-tasking skillsAbility to operate telephone, personal computer, and various printers, as well as other related hardware / software programsWage Range : $96,376 - $122,906
