Caterpillar IT is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our AWS Cloud this role you will work alongside both peers and cloud architects to focus on creating foundational buildouts CI / CD solutions and cybersecurity efforts to support our internal partners needs. We have a focus on developing the next generation of IT professionals where you will gain a foundational knowledge of the manufacturing industry as well as key technology trends.

What you will do :

• Design build and operate cloud infrastructure and platform services supporting enterprise-scale workloads.
• Collaborate closely with cloud architects application teams and security partners to deliver secure scalable and resilient solutions following AWS best practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and operational tasks using infrastructure-as-code and scripting approaches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues in a globally distributed cloud environment.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning backlog refinement stand-ups and retrospectives. (Scrum Kanban or similar)
• Contribute to documentation operational standards and continuous improvement efforts across the AWS team.

$89210.00 - $133810.00
