The Role

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Python based services to ingest, store, tokenize / index, and search manufacturing documentation
  • Architect scalable processing pipelines for documents, video, and mixed-media content by evaluating and integrating various tools (OCR, MMLMs, VLMs, YOLO etc.)
  • Build infrastructure to support functionality including cycle time tracking and workflows
  • Collaborate with ML, frontend, and robotics teams to deliver integrated solutions

You Bring

  • Solid experience with Python backend development and ML, RAG, NLP architectures
  • Proven track record leading service creation at scale
  • Experience building search and indexing systems for unstructured data
  • Availability to work EST hours

    • Bonus Points

  • Experience with high-frequency data streaming technologies (Kafka, ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, ROS)
  • Background in combining siloed data systems and breaking down information barriers
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, MES / ERP systems, or IIOT
  • Experience with video processing and multi-modal search systems
