Pay Range : $103,875 - $166,200
Position Summary :
This position will be responsible for overseeing a team focused on product specialization for physical security systems. The candidate will champion changes to improve how the clients security products are managed. This includes interfacing with security vendors directly, and working with the client on managing these systems at a high level. This role will oversee personnel such as subject matter experts, compliance specialists, and technical writers. The candidate will need to take ownership of system escalations and decision making at a high level as it pertains to the clients security product. The candidate will need to posses strong technical knowledge as well as project management skills to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities :
Manage physical security system support to meet service level agreementsAnalyze physical security system performance and recommend improvementsResolve complex system issues for physical security systems and networksProvide Tier 3 support to the system administration teamProgramming and integrating an entire system at the global levelUsing advanced knowledge of networking principals and system administration skills to troubleshoot systems and operating systemsCommunicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and system administratorsTrain system users and other system support personnelAnalyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changesTroubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actionsPerform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size and integrity checksOrganize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance, including service request records and analysisPerform desktop hardware and operating system set-up, imaging software loading, and antivirus updatesConduct in depth research and evaluate the research of Technical Specialists in order to evaluate existing and future systemsPerform and manage PITCO's.Perform final programming of systemsProvide on site system support post deploymentRead and interpret engineering drawingsUnderstand SOP and SOW documentationEnsure test lab equipment is maintainedAssisting with annual performance evaluationsEnsure availability of remote Pitco and remote accessInterface with engineering team to ensure design efficiencyInterface with internal and external customersProvide advanced level database supportConduct research and development of entire systems and analyze all interoperability and constructability scenariosDelegating tasks and providing support to level I and II Electronics Technical SpecialistsUsing 60% or 90% designs to develop and build out PITCORead blue prints, schematics and statements of work (SOW).Ensuring PITCO build outs adhere to statements of work (SOW).Coordinate with field personnel and / or engineering team to discuss any potential installation issuesAnswer support calls to help field personnel and system administrators with any installation issues encountered on the job siteDocument support calls in the internal support systems (IMMS); ensuring all tickets are addressed and closed.Conduct research and development on new system manufacturers (, intrusion detection and closed circuit television systems).Perform all duties with minimal direct supervisionOversee a team of 8+ personnel focused on physical security systemsDrive and develop product and project roadmaps for existing security systemsPerform managerial duties such as performance reviews, interviews, career growth, and other similar tasksOwning client product issues at a high level and resolving those requestsInitiate and own projects as it pertains to the clients physical security productsPresent team and product metrics to the client in a technical and non-technical formatCandidate / Position Requirements :
Requires ten (10) to twelve (12) years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and / or testing of electronic security systems with a high school diploma or GEDRequires substantial travel to project sites as required by customer and program manager to meet project deliverable'sProficient with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools3-5 Years experiencing managing multiple physical security software / hardware products such as Video Surveillance, Keybox Management, Access Control, etc.3-5 Years experience with interfacing with vendors, clients, and other subject matter experts over matters of system upgrades, bugs, and features3-5 years experience managing / leading a team of both technical and non-technical personnel3-5 years experience with organizing and communicating metrics, milestones, and key team information to an executive audience3-5 years experience with leading projects using industry known project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.Desired Qualifications :
