PRIMARY PURPOSE : The Sales Director will target, develop, and drive revenue growth by winning new business and expanding strategic partnerships with US consumer healthcare and OTC brand owners. The Sales Director will own full‑cycle enterprise selling, prospecting, stakeholder mapping, CRM management, create value‑driven proposals, cross‑functional alignment, contract development and program onboarding. This is a highly visible role reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and will work across functions with technical, commercial ops, regulatory, finance and operational leads. Success in this role will be determined by exceeding sales and customer satisfaction targets.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets including a territory / account plan targeting US OTC and consumer‑health brand owners.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C‑level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Embrace and continuously update the CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Build and maintain long‑lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry‑specific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
  • Promote positive relations with internal and external partners through interaction.
  • Maintain contact with customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint.
  • Always present a professional image to customers and vendors.
  • Ensure commercial process continually advances and evolves and help create a growing future at Formulated Solutions.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Required (knowledge, prior experience)

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Key contributor with the ability to participate and facilitate meetings.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ to Customer and Company sites.
  • Experience selling in the Consumer Health, OTC, ANDA and highly regulated industries.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Technical Capacity.
  • Must have take‑charge attitude with desire to take initiative.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive decision‑making process.
  • CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Executive presence and comfort presenting to clients and c‑suite, negotiating complex commercial situations and agreements.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills as well as excellent oral and written communication abilities, including negotiating and training skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and effectiveness at engaging internal customers.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS :

    Technical Skills and Experience (if applicable)

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • CRM experience a must.
  • Education and / or Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct sales to customers.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical / packaging manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Seniority level : Director
